So not only is today the Vampire Weekend concert which is really exciting as it is BUT they also released a free download on their website! I know fabulous news.

VAMPIRE WEEKEND
So on the first weekend of August, Montreal hosted Osheaga a two day outdoor music festival at Parc Jean-Drapeau. I attended the event with some camp friends on a day off.
We went to the show's first date and rushed back to camp that night to make curfew. The day was incredible only thing was that one of my favorite bands Vampire Weekend were playing the next day. This was disappointing because more than anything I wanted to see them perform live. So after some sulking I got over it and prayed they would return to Montreal soon.

And no their band name has nothing to do with vampire cult things. There will not be people dressed in black wearing fake fangs. According to wikipedia the band in fact got its name from an amateur film made by lead singer Ezra Koening. You can check out the trailer here!
